Gung-Ho Ministries is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization that has been established for the purpose of ministering to the poor and the afflicted by providing food, shelter, housing, life skills, spiritual instruction and counseling through a wide variety of resources and venues. A special area of ministry focus is to Veterans of all ages. Though we are a young organization and have not addressed all these areas, we have lofty goals and believe that Jesus can work miracles when lives are committed to bring Him glory.

That’s why we invite you to partner with us to make a difference in the world and more specifically through our “Jerusalem” right here in the Portland metro area .

Bi-weekly we send a group of volunteers out from Union Gospel Headquarters to 2nd and Burnside “Under the Bridge” near Old Town to cultivate relationships with the homeless and working poor. We give out hot coffee, sandwiches, cookies, socks, toiletries, energy bars and take prayer requests and faithfully distribute those requests to a team of prayer warriors. We believe this is an expression of Jesus love in a non-judgmental, caring way.
